Description

Savory spinach garlic meatballs stuffed with gooey mozzarella, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Turkey
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 8 oz Low-Moisture Mozzarella Cubes
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the spinach and onion in a sauté pan with olive oil until softened.
  3. Combine ground meat, sautéed spinach, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl.
  4. Incorporate the mozzarella cubes gently into the mixture.
  5. Shape into 1-2 inch meatballs and place on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  7. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
