Description

A creamy and airy passion fruit mousse that blends tropical flavors with a delightful texture, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups passion fruit pulp
  • 1/2 cup fresh passion fruit (for garnish)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl; let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Dissolve the bloomed gelatin in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds, stirring until completely smooth.
  3. Blend the passion fruit pulp, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and vanilla extract in a food processor until smooth.
  4. Whip the heavy cream in a chilled bowl until soft peaks form.
  5. Incorporate the dissolved gelatin into the passion fruit mixture until evenly mixed.
  6. Fold in the whipped cream carefully to maintain the light texture.
  7. Transfer the mousse into serving glasses or a decorative bowl and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  8. Garnish with fresh passion fruit pulp before serving and enjoy chilled.

Notes

This mousse can be made a day in advance for enhanced flavor. Adjust sweetness according to the tartness of the passion fruit.
