- 1–2 jalapenos, diced (seeded for less heat)
- 1 package of flour tortillas
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: cooked bacon bits
Instructions
- Mix the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine your cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Blend until creamy.
- Spread the mixture: Take a tortilla and use a spreading knife or spatula to evenly distribute the mixture.
- Roll the tortilla: Roll it tightly from one end to the other, forming a compact log.
- Slice the pinwheels: Cut the rolled tortilla into bite-sized pieces.
- Add bacon if desired: Sprinkle bacon bits on top of the pinwheels for added flavor.
- Serve: Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve immediately or refrigerate for later enjoyment.
