Description

Delicious bite-sized pinwheels filled with creamy cheese and a spicy kick from fresh jalapenos, perfect for gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 jalapenos, diced (seeded for less heat)
  • 1 package of flour tortillas
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Mix the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine your cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Blend until creamy.
  2. Spread the mixture: Take a tortilla and use a spreading knife or spatula to evenly distribute the mixture.
  3. Roll the tortilla: Roll it tightly from one end to the other, forming a compact log.
  4. Slice the pinwheels: Cut the rolled tortilla into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Add bacon if desired: Sprinkle bacon bits on top of the pinwheels for added flavor.
  6. Serve: Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve immediately or refrigerate for later enjoyment.

Notes

Make ahead and refrigerate until ready to serve for best results. For added texture, consider briefly air frying the pinwheels.
