Ingredients

  • Thick slices of bread (sourdough, rustic white, or rye)
  • Sharp cheddar cheese
  • Sliced beef (well-seasoned roast beef)
  • Crispy cooked bacon
  • Sliced apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji)
  • Hot honey
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: Preheat your cast iron skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
  2. Butter the bread: Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
