- 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha until smooth. Set aside.
- Prepare the Salmon: Rinse the salmon pieces under cold water and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper.
- Set Up Your Dredging Station: Arrange three plates with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
- Bread the Salmon: Coat each piece with flour, dip in eggs, then roll in panko.
- Fry the Bites: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry salmon bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain and Serve: Remove bites and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve with Bang Bang sauce.
Notes
For a healthier option, bake in the oven at 425°F for 12-15 minutes or use an air fryer.
