Description

A tropical delight, this creamy passion fruit mousse combines tangy passion fruit and velvety cream for a refreshing dessert experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh passion fruit pulp
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Optional: mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the gelatin: In a small bowl, combine the gelatin with water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine the fruit and milk: Blend the fresh passion fruit pulp with sweetened condensed milk until fully incorporated.
  3. Whip the cream: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold it together: Gently fold the whipped cream into the passion fruit mixture.
  5. Melt the gelatin: Over low heat, melt the bloomed gelatin until it turns liquid and fold it into the mousse mixture.
  6. Chill the mousse: Spoon into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Serve and garnish: Serve chilled, garnished with fresh mint leaves if desired.
