Description

A creamy, indulgent dessert featuring tropical coconut, zesty lime, and a refreshing passion fruit topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Passion fruit for topping

Instructions

  1. Combine the coconut milk, heavy cream, and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bloom the gelatin in a small bowl with cold water for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Mix the bloomed gelatin into the warm coconut mixture until dissolved.
  4. Add the lime zest and juice, combining well to blend flavors.
  5. Pour the mixture into individual cups or ramekins.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  7. Top each panna cotta with fresh passion fruit before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute gelatin with agar-agar. Make-ahead: Prepare a day in advance for best flavor.
