Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped apples

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix apple cider, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, and chopped apples to make the slaw.
  6. Serve the sticky apple cider chicken with the crisp autumn slaw on the side.
