Description

Decadent Tiramisu Brownies combining rich chocolate flavors with creamy mascarpone and coffee for an indulgent dessert experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 3 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold these dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips, then pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. While baking, mix mascarpone cheese with cooled brewed coffee and coffee liqueur until smooth.
  6. Remove the brownies from the oven and spread the mascarpone mixture evenly over the baked layer. Spoon the remaining batter on top.
  7. Return to the oven for another 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely, then dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

Allow brownies to cool completely before serving for the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
