Description
Delicious jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a creamy ricotta and spinach filling, topped with marinara and gooey mozzarella.

- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup cooked and chopped spinach
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cooked spinach, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese and spinach mixture.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve.
Notes
You can use cottage cheese for a lighter option or frozen spinach if needed.
