- 1 ripe avocado
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices of bread (your choice)
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- While the shrimp is cooking, toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, mash the ripe avocado and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mashed avocado evenly on the toasted bread.
- Top the avocado toast with the cooked shrimp.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
