- 1 can (15 oz) Sloppy Joe sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Stir in the Sloppy Joe sauce and frozen mixed vegetables. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it over the beef mixture, sealing the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
