Description

Sloppy Joe Casserole is a hearty and flavorful dish that combines the classic taste of Sloppy Joes with the comforting texture of a casserole, making it a perfect family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) Sloppy Joe sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the Sloppy Joe sauce and frozen mixed vegetables. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
  6. Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it over the beef mixture, sealing the edges.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
