- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/2 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage
- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface and cut them into rectangles.
- In a bowl, mix together the cheese, bacon or sausage, green onions, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the filling on one half of each rectangle.
- Fold the other half over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
