Description

Savory Breakfast Pop-Tarts are a delightful twist on the classic pastry, filled with savory ingredients for a unique morning treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage
  • 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface and cut them into rectangles.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cheese, bacon or sausage, green onions, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place a spoonful of the filling on one half of each rectangle.
  5. Fold the other half over and seal the edges with a fork.
