Description

Sage Roasted Potatoes are a flavorful and aromatic side dish that combines the earthy taste of sage with crispy roasted potatoes, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds of baby potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and halve the baby potatoes.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, chopped sage, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving.
  • These potatoes can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
  • Feel free to substitute dried sage if fresh is not available, but use less as dried herbs are more potent.
