Description

A delicious and unique twist on traditional guacamole, featuring pumpkin and served with sweet cinnamon chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the avocado until smooth.
  2. Add the pumpkin puree, lime juice, ground cinnamon, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until well combined.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Cut the flour tortillas into triangles and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Brush the melted butter over the tortilla triangles and sprinkle with sugar and additional cinnamon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve the pumpkin guacamole with the cinnamon chips for dipping.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, you can add a bit of Greek yogurt to the guacamole.
  • Adjust the spices according to your taste preference.
  • Store any leftover guacamole in an airtight container to prevent browning.
