- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the vegetable oil, stirring until smooth.
- Add the peppermint extract to the melted white chocolate and mix well.
- Pour the white chocolate mixture over the semi-sweet chocolate layer and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies on top and gently press them into the white chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
- Once set, remove from the dish and cut into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
- For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the amount of peppermint extract.
- Feel free to use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet for a richer taste.
