  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs for the pecan topping.
  8. Stir in the chopped pecans and pour the mixture over the brownie batter.
