Description

A deliciously moist and rich banana bread made with ripe bananas and sugar-free chocolate chips, perfect for a wholesome snack or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: Add eggs, honey (if desired), and vanilla to the bananas and whisk.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients in another bowl: Whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 45-55 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For the best results, use overripe bananas for sweetness. This bread can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container.
