Spicy Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders with juicy chicken and creamy coleslaw, wrapped in soft buns.

- 1 lb Chicken Breast
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- Vegetable Oil (for frying)
- 8 Soft Slider Buns
- 1 cup Creamy Coleslaw
- Sliced Pickles
- Nashville Hot Sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces into buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
- Fry the chicken for 4-6 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
- Mix Nashville hot sauce with a few tablespoons of frying oil.
- Drench each piece of fried chicken in the hot sauce mixture.
- Assemble sliders by placing chicken on buns, topping with coleslaw and pickles.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Marinate chicken in buttermilk overnight for better flavor. Use an air fryer as a healthier option.
