  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt

  • Sliced Pickles
  • Nashville Hot Sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Dip chicken pieces into buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
  4. Fry the chicken for 4-6 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  5. Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
  6. Mix Nashville hot sauce with a few tablespoons of frying oil.
  7. Drench each piece of fried chicken in the hot sauce mixture.
  8. Assemble sliders by placing chicken on buns, topping with coleslaw and pickles.

Notes

Marinate chicken in buttermilk overnight for better flavor. Use an air fryer as a healthier option.
