Description

A delicious and cheesy steak stromboli filled with mouthwatering mozzarella cheese and seasoned steak, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
  3. Add the steak to the skillet, season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Spread the steak mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the steak mixture.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and pinch the ends to seal.
  8. Place the stromboli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush the top with olive oil and make a few slits on top for steam to escape.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach.
  • Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
  • Can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
