Description

Mini Cherry Cheese Danishes are delightful pastries filled with a creamy cheese mixture and topped with sweet cherry filling, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Top the cream cheese with a spoonful of cherry pie filling.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
