Description

Maple Bacon Deviled Eggs are a delicious twist on the classic deviled eggs, combining the savory flavor of bacon with the sweetness of maple syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 strips of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of water and bringing it to a boil. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat, letting them sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel and slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and crumbled bacon.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  6. Garnish with additional crumbled bacon and chives.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
  • These can be made a few hours in advance; just keep them refrigerated until serving.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of maple syrup based on your sweetness preference.
