Description

Lobster-Stuffed Garlic Bread Boats are a delightful and indulgent appetizer that combines the rich flavors of lobster with the comforting taste of garlic bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the center to create boats.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly inside the hollowed bread.
  5. In another bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper.
  6. Fill the garlic buttered bread with the lobster mixture.
  7. Place the filled bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bread is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of lemon juice to the lobster mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute the mozzarella cheese with your favorite cheese.
  • These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
