- 12 Fresh Jalapeños
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 6 slices Bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack)
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- Salt to taste
- Parchment paper (for baking)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the jalapeños by slicing them in half lengthwise and scooping out the seeds.
- Make the filling by mixing cream cheese, crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, pressing gently to pack.
- Coat the filled poppers by dipping them into breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the poppers on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve warm, garnished with cilantro or sour cream.
Notes
For make-ahead convenience, prepare the filling a day early and stuff the jalapeños before baking.
