Description

A refreshing salad featuring perfectly grilled steak, mixed greens, caramelized corn, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (your choice, such as flank or sirloin)
  • 4 cups mixed greens (spinach, arugula, or spring mix)
  • 1 cup sweet corn (roasted or grilled for maximum flavor)
  • 1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese (crumbled)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season your steak generously with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  2. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until seared. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness (medium-rare at 130°F).
  3. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes to reabsorb its juices.
  4. Combine mixed greens, roasted corn, and crumbled gorgonzola in a large bowl.
  5. Slice the grilled steak against the grain and arrange it over the salad.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.

Notes

For make-ahead options, grill and slice the steak a day in advance. Customize ingredients based on personal preference.
