A deliciously roasted turkey infused with garlic butter and herbs, perfect for any festive occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the turkey dry with paper towels and rub the garlic butter mixture all over the turkey, including under the skin.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
- Roast the turkey in the preheated oven, basting every 30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the turkey rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add lemon slices inside the turkey cavity.
- Make sure to use a meat thermometer to check the turkey’s doneness.
- Leftover turkey can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
