Instructions
- Dissolve the Cotton Candy: In a mixing bowl, add a generous handful of cotton candy and pour vodka over it. Stir gently until the cotton candy dissolves completely, creating a whimsical, sweet-infused mixture.
- Prepare the Lemonade/Soda Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine lemonade or soda water. If desired, add food coloring to enhance the visual appeal, stirring until well mixed.
- Combine the Mixtures: Pour the cotton candy-vodka mixture into the lemonade or soda water, stirring carefully to combine the flavors.
- Fill the Ice Pop Molds: Carefully pour the vibrant mixture into your ice pop molds, filling them almost to the top. Leave a little space to account for expansion during freezing.
- Insert the Sticks: Place the molds’ sticks into the mixture, ensuring they stand upright.
- Freeze Solid: Place your molds in the freezer for at least 240-360 minutes, or until fully frozen—grab a book, kick back, and let time work its magic!
- Unmold and Garnish: Once frozen, gently remove the pops from the molds. If you like a little sparkle, roll the pops in sparkling sugar before serving.
Notes
Work in a cool kitchen environment to prevent the cotton candy from softening too quickly. For easier removal from the molds, run warm water over the outside briefly.
