Description

French Dip Squares are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that combines the flavors of a classic French dip sandwich in a bite-sized form.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it in a greased baking dish, pressing it to form a crust.
  4. Layer the sliced roast beef evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese on top of the beef.
  6. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to create a pocket.
  7. Pour the beef broth mixture over the top of the dough.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or peppers to the filling.
  • Serve with additional beef broth for dipping.
  • Can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
