Description

A creamy and flavorful pumpkin sauce served with gnocchi, perfect for a cozy fall meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of gnocchi
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sage, dried
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté the minced garlic in a bit of olive oil until fragrant.
  3. Add the pumpkin puree and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and dried sage, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
  6. Toss the cooked gnocchi in the pumpkin sauce until well coated.
