Description

A refreshing salad featuring crisp cucumbers, smoky bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese in a creamy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds.
  2. Place the sliced cucumbers in a colander, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, and dill; whisk until smooth.
  4. Rinse and drain the cucumbers, then pat dry.
  5. Toss the cucumbers in the creamy dressing until coated.
  6. Mix in cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
  7. Chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving.
