Description
A hearty and comforting dish featuring layers of pierogi, kielbasa, and cheese, all cooked to perfection in a crockpot.

- 1 package frozen pierogi (16 oz)
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until well combined.
- Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add half of the kielbasa slices and half of the chopped onion on top of the pierogi.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese over the layers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pierogi, kielbasa, onion, and cheese.
- Pour the soup mixture evenly over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pierogi are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before cooking.
