Description

Fluffy pancakes infused with the flavors of traditional Spanish churros, coated in sugary cinnamon for a delightful breakfast experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Use a 1/4 cup measure to pour the batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  6. Cook until small bubbles form on the surface, then flip.
  7. Continue cooking until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar as each pancake is finished.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
