Description

A delicious and rich chocolate pumpkin tart that combines the flavors of chocolate and pumpkin, perfect for fall.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just simmering, then remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted.
  6. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  7. Mix in the melted chocolate mixture until smooth.
  8. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  10. Let the tart cool before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with whipped cream for added richness.
  • Can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free graham crackers.
