Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped dark chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each cranberry into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place the chocolate-covered cranberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.
Notes
- For a sweeter sauce, adjust the sugar to taste.
- Use milk chocolate for a creamier flavor.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
