Description

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles are a delicious and indulgent treat that combines the classic flavors of cookie dough with a rich chocolate coating.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, for coating

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and salt, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Chill the dough balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
  8. Dip each chilled dough ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  9. Return the chocolate-coated truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet and let them set until the chocolate hardens.
