Description

Chicken Pillows are a delightful dish featuring tender chicken wrapped in a flaky pastry, served with a rich and creamy Parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the pastry over to form a pillow shape and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. In a saucepan, combine chicken broth and heavy cream, and simmer until slightly thickened.
  9. Serve the chicken pillows drizzled with the creamy Parmesan sauce.
