Description

Indulge in a velvety homemade cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust and delightful berry toppings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until evenly mixed and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until creamy and free of lumps.
  5. Add the sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time, mixing on low.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and spread it evenly.
  7. Place the springform pan in a larger baking dish filled halfway with hot water and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  8. Cool the cheesecake slowly in the oven with the door cracked, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  9. Remove the sides of the springform pan, slice, and serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For a unique twist, try adding a fruit compote or chocolate ganache on top before serving.
