Ingredients

- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup rice
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- In a pot, heat the chicken broth and water over medium heat.
- Add the marinated chicken thighs to the pot and cook until fully cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and set aside, then reduce the broth slightly.
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Serve the chicken over rice, drizzled with the garlic ginger broth and topped with green onions.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
