Description

These delicious Boursin stuffed mushrooms combine earthy, creamy flavors with a satisfying crunch, making them the perfect appetizer for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Mushrooms (Small, firm cremini or button mushrooms)
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 0.5 small Onion (Minced yellow onion)
  • 1 sprig Thyme (Leaves, chopped)
  • to taste Black Pepper (Freshly cracked)
  • 1 package Boursin Cheese (5.2 oz, softened)
  • 0.25 cup Panko Crumbs
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese (Finely grated)
  • 1 tbsp Parsley (Finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (For drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems, finely chopping them.
  3. Melt butter in a sauté pan and cook the minced onion and chopped mushroom stems for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in chopped thyme and a pinch of black pepper.
  5. Combine the sautéed mixture with softened Boursin cheese in a mixing bowl.
  6. Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling.
  7. Mix panko crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese, then sprinkle over the stuffed mushrooms.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Prepare the filling in advance and store in the refrigerator for up to a day before baking.
