Description

Succulent pork chops with a golden-brown crust, complemented by a creamy sauce infused with garlic and thyme. Perfect for romantic dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 thick, boneless pork chops
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Sear the chops in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil, for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Create the sauce by sautéing minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth to scrape up flavorful bits, then stir in heavy cream.
  5. Incorporate Parmesan cheese and thyme; stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Simmer the pork chops in the sauce for an additional 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Serve the pork chops drizzled with creamy sauce and garnish with thyme.

Notes

Allow pork to rest for a few minutes after cooking for better tenderness. Customize sauce by adding mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
